Co-op?

For those of you who were interested in knowing more about the co-op, here’s a little upate…..

Ha. What a joke that was. It wasn’t even a REAL co-op. The lady who we paid was just scamming everybody. And the truth is, if she hadn’t been so lazy and actually done things on time, we never would have started asking questions and figured it out. There’s just too much ridiculousness that happened to describe it all to you. But, the good news is, we got most of our money back, and for the time we were involved, we did get some neat stuff. (like 3 bottles of the amazing Simply Lemonade!)

Lesson learned: Never trust morbidly obese rednecks with 6 children.

Blog #62

I definitely have plenty to blog about with everything that’s going on with work right now. But the trouble is, I’d have to type SO much for any of it to make sense. So…I think I will just sum up all of my work happenings with this: …bleh…

In other parts of my life (although lately it feels like my entire life is revolved around my job):
1. AMTC Dress Rehearsal this past Saturday was AWESOME. I’m feeling much more confident about it all now.
2. We got our pictures from the photoshoot back and they are pretty spectacular. I will post some as soon as I get them on the computer.
3. I’ll be going back to record for my demo this Saturday. This time, we will be sure to email it all to ourselves before it has a chance of being deleted again.
4. Rehearsals for Man of La Mancha are starting to get better. Things are finally falling into place and making sense. Makes me realize how much I missed doing theater.
5. As a part of this co-op we’re involved in, we just got two containers of Simply Lemonade. Yes, this is blog-worthy. It is amazingly good lemonade.

Facebook Hidden Cameras?

I’m pretty sure facebook has hidden cameras everywhere. I’m sitting at work this morning, listening to Imogen Heap on our CD player (NOT on the computer media player) and the next thing I know, there’s a new ad on the side of my facebook page that says, “Like Imogen Heap? Check out (insert some band name here that I can’t remember.)” And then when that CD was over, it switched over to the next one, Missy Higgins. And what do you know, about 3 songs in, I go back to look at something on facebook, and there, in the same place the Imogen Heap ad was, appeared a new one that read, “Like Missy Higgins? Check out (insert some other band name here that I can’t remember.)” I’m now a few songs into a Bebo Norman CD, so if this happens with him, I will be very suspicious.
